Mission

Our Primary Mission as a dedicated patient transportation service is to provide the highest quality of pre-hospital emergency medical care to the residents and visitors of Ripley County Missouri. The Board of Directors, Management and EMS Staff will work cooperatively to ensure:

• High quality emergency medical care is provided in a cost effective manner.
• Continual growth of services to meet the needs of Ripley County residents and visitors today and in the future.
• To provide relevant education to our employees, other local emergency services and to the general public.
• To treat everyone with respect and compassion, regardless of race, ethnic background, gender or religious beliefs.

Ripley County Ambulance District changes look of it's ambulances.

Ripley County Ambulance District's new 2012 Chevrolet has been outfitted with a new logo and stripes, adopting the local school colors of Black and Gold.  The stripes on the new unit are retro-reflective, making the unit highly visible at night allowing for greater crew safety. The large wide stripes on the rear leave no doubt that your behind an emergency vehicle. This unit also incorporates other safety features, such as rear windows that you can see out but not in, providing privacy for the patient and crew. A new rear view camera system allowing easier backing if the vehicle and this unit also has LED scene lights that allow for a much brighter work area in low light conditions.
